BANGALORE: Chief Minister B.S.Yadiyurappa expressed deep grief for SPB’s demise. He said he is heartbroken as renowned singer S.P.Balasubramanyam passed away this afternoon.

And he said that SPB was a great singer in the film industry and played a huge role in the music of all the languages ​​of South India including Hindi. He has also made a mark in the music industry by acting, composing and performing music.

He has sung over 40,000 songs in more than 10 languages. He had a special fondness for Kannada and Kannadigas. He was a Well-known singer who have received Padma Shri, Padma Vibhushan Award and many other awards. His songs are enduringly popular.

His death marked a major loss in the music industry.  CM Yadiyurappa also said that he would pray for the peace for singer’s family and his millions of fans.
