Karnataka government has announced that it would be imposing a complete lockdown in the state on every Sunday, from 5 July, 2020, until further notice .

Except essential services and supplies no other activities shall be permitted on that day
From 8 pm to 5 am ,there will be a curfew with effect from 29 June.From July 10 all the governmentoffices will be closed on all the Saturdays.

As Karnataka reported a record 918 new Covid-19 positive cases and 11 deaths on Saturday itself. Total positive cases are 11923 and death toll is at 191 in the state where in, Bengaluru alone recorded 596 new cases.
