Ayodhya: The construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has begun. The construction work has begun after the Rudrabhishekam Puja at the Kubera Tila Temple.

The Rama Mandir Trust has cancelled the lavish land worship program temporarily that was planned earlier considering COVID 19 outbreak in the nation. The Trust said that we are continuing the tradition of Prabhu Sri Rama ,and worship of Lord Mahadeva was performed before any auspicious function.
A special two-hour prayer was offered by Mahantha Kamal Nayan Das and fellow priests.

In 1992, it was decided to use the same design of the temple which was planned by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The temple is to be built in the cobra style of architecture and is intended to be built using stone instead of cement or steel. The construction of the temple is expected to be completed within 24 to 30 months.

The design of the temple has already made it home for the devotees. The VHP appealed to the temple trust to use the same. The design was developed by renowned architect Chandrakant Somapur. The Supreme Court had on November 9, 2019 allowed the construction of a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
