HYDERABAD: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will meet Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat and three Army Chiefs today. He will be discussing the current situation in East Ladakh’s virtual control line on the India-China border.
The meeting will be reviewed and discussed mainly on the security situation in the country. The visit is significant as the peace talks between China and India continue.
After Prime Minister’s Security Adviser Doval spoke with China’s Foreign Minister, China withdrew two kilometers from Galvan Valley and LAC.
The Indian Army has confirmed that China has retreated from the virtual border. It has also taken serious care of this. Amidst all these developments, the Defense Minister will hold talks with CDS Bipin Rawat and the heads of the three forces today.
