Islamabad: A Hindu temple will be built for the first time in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. Hindu community leaders laid the foundation stone for construction today. The Hindu Panchayat Temple in Islamabad has been named as Sri Krishna Mandir. The municipal authority, the National Human Rights Commission, has granted permission for the construction of the first ever Hindu temple.
The Hindu community that lives in Islamabad had to go to their hometowns today to participate in worship now they are happy as the temple being built in the place where they live. The temple will be built in the H-9 sector of Islamabad, for which the government has given 4 acres of land and will be the first Hindu temple to be built there.
Human rights secretary Lal Chand Malhi said that the number of Hindu community in the capital is increasing year by year. It is necessary to build a temple here. He said that there was a demand for Hindu temple temple from many years.
