NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin have held talks over the covid -19 virus crisis spreading across the globe. The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that the two leaders discussed jointly the challenges facing the world once covid is controlled.
President Putin and I have decided to hold regular consultations. Modi said on Twitter that Putin will visit India to attend the summit to be held later this year.
Both the leaders discussed the effective measures taken by both countries to address the negative impacts of the pandemic. The Prime Minister’s Office has said that India-Russia are committed to address the challenges of the post-covid world jointly.
Putin thanked Modi for the phone call. He reiterated his commitment to further strengthening the special and privileged strategic partnership between the two countries in all spheres
