NEW DELHI: Swachhsarvekshan abhiyaan was conducted and Indore has been declared as the cleanest city of India for the fourth time in a row in the Swachh Survekshan awards 2020 announced by the Union housing and urban affairs minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Gujarat’s Surat takes second spot, Navi Mumbai ranks third in the category of cities with more than 10 lakh population.And Bihar’s Patna has has been declared as the most dirtiest city.

Even in the category of smaller cities too, the state has it’s poorl performance in maintaining cleanliness and made at the bottom of the rankings.so PM took to twitter to congratulate the cities and it’s people for maintaining cleanliness and urges others also to follow them.
