Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ‘Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Yojana” in video conference.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present during the event. The scheme aims to provide employment to about 1.25 crore migrant workers who lost their jobs during the lockdown.

PM Modi spoke after event and said Uttar Pradesh is bigger than many countries in the world. The hard work of the state government has put during the Corona Crisis have saved 85,000 lives. The doctors, police, cleaning staff and Asha activists have taken part in the struggle and praised,PM Modi praised the Yogi government for its wonderful work.

Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath said that during the Covid Crisis, Prime Minister Modi has shown the country that “Jaan bhi aur Jaha bhi” Under the Modi’s Self-reliant India Model Campaign, we made the decision to launch a self-sustaining ‘Roja Gar’ project to create employment for migrant workers. 1.25 crore migrant workers who have lost their jobs will benefit. CM Yogi said 35 lakh migrant workers have returned to Uttar Pradesh, out of which 30 lakh have been identified as skilled workers.
