New Delhi: Cinema halls in several parts of the country reopened today after seven months in the shadow of the pandemic. Theatres and multiplexes, closed since March because of the coronavirus crisis, recently allowed to resume operations as per guidelines issued under Unlock 5.The Union home ministry had given permission for these to reopen as per guidelines for that phase of unlock from October 15 after 7 months. As per guidelines, it will be mandatory to maintain a minimum of six feet distance between two individuals in the common area and waiting area in the cinema halls. Use of face masks and respiratory etiquettes have to be strictly followed by visitors and staffs. Spitting is prohibited anywhere within the premises.
